The idea is to resurrect and celebrate Zamrock music. We look to record both the negative and positives of the 1960s genre of music from the Zambian perspectives. Looking at historical influences and how the independence struggle birthed the movement. And the impact Zamrock had on the society through policies and social practices.
The knowledge bank is dedicated to the former Zamrock bands 1960s to date as a model of contemporary artistic production and heritage reclaim. Zango Pavilion
