UPCOMING @ MODZI
AI Workshop | artificial of ARTIFICIAL : synthetic sensory and imagination
|
Date | Sunday, 30 November 2025
Time | 11H00 - 13H00 Feeling overwhelmed by the AI hype? In this workshop, artist Yoyojin will guide you to turn your own memories, interests, and everyday fragments into a personal narrative using collage and simple AI tools. No coding or art background is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore what “artificial” can mean in your own story.Rather than only using AI to generate images or videos, Yoyojin'll also share practical ways to search for, choose, and apply AI tools that are actually suitable for real problem-solving practice and link with issues in the society. Yoyojin is an interdisciplinary artist working across AI, drawing, sound, animation, and live painting, focusing on individuals and communities in conditions of social uncertainty. He spent about nine years in Zambia through a UNESCO programme and held artist in residency and his first solo exhibition at Modzi Arts in 2018. He has since collaborated with brands such as Coach, Samsung, Hyundai Motor Company, and Absolut Vodka, presented live drawing projects at Rockefeller Center, Ponce City Market, and Market Route, and recently completed an MFA in Arts & Humanities at the Royal College of Art (RCA). |
