mwengwe natalie chisoko
Mwengwe Natalie Chisoko is a multi-faceted talent who uses her voice as a medium both to sing and as a voice over artist.
Mwengwe draws her inspiration from several artists both local and international, in the voice over discipline the likes of Chilu Lemba, Kamiza Chikula, Dineo Ranaka and Evodia the voice. Her love for music comes from growing up in a musically inclined family where both her parents are gifted with either the ability to sing or play an instrument.
Mwengwe’s ability to transcend between using her voice both as a backing vocalist and a voice actor/artist is one of her best qualities because it speaks versatility. She is a leader, quite charismatic, pleasant, engaging and easy to work with, she is creative and her strong personality shines through. She celebrates humility and staying teachable and attributes a lot of what she knows to her grandmother who kept her grounded growing up.
Mwengwe is a backing vocalist in Seya Fundafunda’s band. The band has graced many of Lusaka’s podiums, which includes the Mulungushi International Conference center, the Government complex and the Italian Cultural center, featuring on various music concerts. Mwengwe continues to grow her music abilities by attending trainings and workshops. She attended the 2023 Zamrock Museum residency program at Modzi Arts, where she invested in knowledge on music management and the Zamrock genre.
