Mukomanji Sichilongo

Mukomanji, otherwise known by his full name Mukomanji Sichilongo, is a bass guitarist from Zambia. Having grown up with parents who appreciate art, Muko was provided support to develop an artistic skill at a tender age. In this regard, his father bought instruments for Muko and his siblings to play. It is from this background that Muko developed the skill of playing guitar. His eclectic taste of music he listens to, which spans across varying genres such as jazz, pop, kalindula, hip-hop and Zamrock, has also fused into his style of play. 
Muko feels the music industry in Zambia is slowly becoming less organic. His hope is to bring back the processes of creating music that is full of feeling and passion. Live instrumentalism is something he strongly insists of infusing in all genres.
