Lady Light
Lady Light, a multi-faceted Independent Artist, Music NFT artist, Mix Dj, and Curator from Lusaka Zambia. She is a storyteller who aims to empower minds through her lyrical expression. Her unique sound is a blend of hip hop over contemporary and retro African styles of music. Advocating for African culture and technology in the arts, she explores various technologies such as web3 and incorporates them into her craft.
As an emerging artist and DJ, she has performed at various festivals and venues in Zambia and Zimbabwe, including Oktoberfest, Rackless Kazi, Shoko Festival Zimbabwe and many more. She is currently the resident Dj at Ciela Resort and Spa. At the Africa Rising Music Conference 2023, she served as a panelist, discussing emerging technologies like Web3, A.I, and V.R.shaping the African music landscape.Both as a live performer and Dj, Lady Light serves music which evokes our inner urge to move. Catering to all age groups and lovers of fusion music. She is currently working on her EP titled “Mishonjo Ya Sizo” meaning Ethnic Vibrations in her mother tongue SiLozi.
