With an eye on the music industry as sharp as that of an eagle, Kempson Flint (otherwise known by the name Kampamba Mabuluki) is a Zambian based artist manager full of passion for the industry. Flint does not keep his eggs in one basket as he has experience as a musician,. Music producer, booking agent and DJ.
Flint has for a long time observed that there has been next to little or no consolidated documenting of the music industry in Zambia, as it is fragmented and poorly organized. He has perceived therefore then the numerous monetizing potentials the local industry has and has used this identified gap as his area of speciality as a manager.
With the few upcoming artists he has had a chance to manage, Flint has focused on building their revenue streams through more festival opportunities and merchandising. He strongly encourages collaboration and utilizing technology such as streaming opportunities in music. In mid 2023, Kempson played with the We Intend To Cause Havoc (W.I.T.C.H) band on their latest project called “Zango” as a session musician. The WITCH is Zambia’s only existing Zamrock band from the 90s that is still playing.
Such exposure, coupled with his love, passion and commitment for the music industry, has ‘sanctified’ Flint as a vibrant upcoming manager that will take Zambian music and musicians to the ends of the world.
