DJ Lisa, otherwise known as Lisa Kafunda, is a highly energetic and versatile individual, excelling as a radio DJ, newscaster, host, and mix DJ. Born in 1998, she hails from a small family of five. Lisa's passion for music has been ingrained in her since childhood, and it was no surprise that she pursued a career in radio DJing immediately after completing her high school education in 2016.
Her journey as a mix DJ truly began when she had the privilege of being mentored by one of Zambia's finest female DJs, Ms Selfie. Under Ms Selfie's guidance, Lisa learned the essential skills and qualities required for a female DJ to thrive in the industry. In 2019, she participated in the female DJ residency Rackless Nkazi, which provided her with invaluable mentorship and practical training from some of the world's best female DJs. This experience further honed her skills and solidified her passion for DJing.
