CHIPAKATA CHILDREN'S ACADEMY
Chipakata Children's Academy has a strong connection to art and international artists. Since 2019 Modzi Arts and Foundation 14Plus have been working together to provide extracurricular art education for the school's 5th and 6th grade classes.
The group classes expose students to a variety of art forms including drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media from a local, Zambian context. The practical, hands on art projects contribute to the development of the child's artistic skills, confidence and creative abilities.
This partnership has enable the opportunity for local and international artists to be part of dynamic art curriculum in an exceptional school in rural Zambia.
