Arthur Chiyaka
Arthur is a Livingstone based artist manager who is living his vision of building a brand that will grow to be recognized internationally. His artist named is A C Chiyaka, a name which was birthed as an abbreviation of his actual name. He got involved in the music industry in the late 90s as a rapper of hip-hop music, but later switched to Reggae and Dancehall.
After going through hardships as an artist, AC took an interest in trying to understand why many talented artists struggle to thrive in their careers. Having interacted with several of his fellow artists and in response to this identified problem, AC thought it best to nolonger be a victim of failed musical hopes and dreams and become an agent that facilitates the realization of such dreams thereof. Therefore, in 2012 AC put his music tools down as an artist and opened up a studio and record label to support upcoming artists as an artist manager.
As an artist manager, AC aspires to take his artists’ talent to the next level by sharing the lessons and experiences from his time as an active artist 10 years ago. He is currently managing Moniq Stylez, a leading female DJ and radio host in Livingstone, Zambia.
